Cliffs Reaches Tentative Labor Agreement with USW at Minnesota Mining Operations
10/12/2012 - Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. announced a tentative agreement with the United Steelworkers (USW) on a new three-year labor contract offer that will cover approximately 2,400 USW-represented workers at Cliffs’ Empire and Tilden mines in Michigan and its United Taconite and Hibbing Taconite mines in Minnesota.

The agreement is pending ratification by USW local union memberships.
