Chinese Steelmakers Sign Cooperation Agreement With Fives
11/27/2018 - Industrial equipment maker Fives has signed US$150 million worth of cooperation agreements with a variety of Chinese manufacturers, including Baowu Steel Group, Benxi Steel Group and Fujian Special Steel, the company reports.
Fives said the agreements arose from the inaugural China International Import Expo, which brought together Chinese manufacturers with suppliers and customers from around the world. Fives said it took the opportunity to showcase its steel processing technologies and digital solutions.
"The cooperation agreements signed with Chinese steelmakers will allow us to jointly develop in a win-win spirit the steelmaking technologies of the future for the Chinese market as well as for global export," said Guillaume Mehlman, president of Fives' steel and glass business lines.
