Chinese Steel Output Jumped in March

04/16/2025 - Encouraged by exports and favorable margins, Chinese steel mills throttled up production in March, according to the Reuters news service.

According to Reuters, the country’s crude steel output reached 92.8 million metric tons during the month, up 4.6% over the same time last year. The output also marked a 10-month high, Reuters said.
