Chinese Long Mill Starts New KOCKS Wire Rod Line
11/05/2020 - China’s Guangdong Shaoguan Iron & Steel Co. has commissioned a new KOCKS-built combined wire rod and coiled billet line, KOCKS has announced.
In a statement, KOCKS said the line serves as the finishing unit for coiled billet in diameters from 15 mm to 50 mm and also as an intermediate unit for the wire rod line.
“Thanks to the remote control system, size changes can be applied within a billet gap, and stand changes can be done within a maximum of five minutes due to the advanced stand quick-change design,” the company said.
