China Takes a New Tack on Air Pollution Reduction
07/23/2018 - China plans to set varying production cuts among its steel mills as it adopts a more tailored approach to reducing air pollution, reports the Reuters news service.
“This year, production curbs (in the steel industry) will definitely be differentiated based on the emission level at each steel mill,” said Liu Bingjiang, director of the air environmental management department at the Ministry of Environment and Ecology, according to Reuters.
