CGI to Provide IT Support to Evraz for North American Operations
05/20/2011 - Evraz Inc. NA has selected CGI Group Inc. to provide IT services support to its North American operations through 2016.
Evraz Inc. NA has selected CGI Group Inc. to provide IT services support to its North American operations through 2016.
Under this agreement, awarded through a competitive process, CGI will continue to provide call center IT support services to Evraz's employees across Canada on a 24/7/365 basis, and will see that service extended to the Portland, Ore., and Claymont, Del., locations this year. CGI will also continue providing the Canadian group with service desk, managed IT support services including Mainframe Operations and Support, Server Management, technical and database support, security administration and hardware and software management.

The two companies have had a long-standing relationship dating back to 1999 when CGI first started providing managed services to the Canadian operations of Evraz.
