Sep. 5, 2006 — Carpenter Technology Corp.’s Specialty Alloys Operations unit is increasing base prices 3% on all air melted stainless products and 3 to 5% on all premium melted products.

The increase is effective September 5, 2006 on all new orders and shipments. Carpenter notes that all raw material and energy surcharges will remain in effect.
