In his new role as Chairman, Widge succeeds outgoing Chairman Douglas A. Kittenbrink, who has held the position since 2007. "We deeply appreciate the work that Doug has accomplished during his tenure leading the association," said Widge. "As the incoming Chairman, I look forward to guiding SSINA and our member companies in response to the challenges facing the specialty steel industry."

Sunil Widge, who was recently named Chief Technology Officer Emeritus of Carpenter, began his career with the company in 1976, serving most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In addition to leading process and product research and development in new materials applications, Widge was also responsible for directing the expansion of the company's high-profile scientific capability in specialty alloy materials technology and promoting new products.

Widge earned a Ph.D. in Metallurgy and Material Science from Lehigh University in 1985, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, in 1993, and a B.S. in Metallurgy from the College of Engineering in Poona, India. He holds five U.S. patents and serves on the Board of Directors of Alvernia University. Carl Moulton serves as Vice President, International, at ATI, with responsibility for overseeing the company's commercial activities in Europe and Asia as well as the STAL Precision Rolled Strip(R) and Uniti titanium ventures.

A graduate of Dartmouth College, Moulton served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant, earning a Bronze Star. Following his military career, he worked as a sales representative with Allegheny Ludlum (1972), later joining Jessop Steel (1981). Moulton served as Jessop Steel’s President until the company was acquired by ATI in 1993.

During his tenure as President of Jessop, Moulton served on SSINA’s Board of Directors and also served as the association's Vice Chairman. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Uniti LLC, which has become one of the world's leading suppliers of industrial titanium products.
