Canadian Tube Maker Searching for U.S. Site
09/01/2017 - An Ohio city is competing with at least one other locale for a proposed tube being planned by Canadian steel processor Nova Steel, according to a report.
According to Crain’s Cleveland Business, the city is considering a 10-year tax abatement for the project, which potentially would be built on 30 acres of land that once was the home to a steel mill. The facility, which could employ up to 75 people, arises out of demand for oil and gas pipelines, according to Crain’s Cleveland Business.
