Canadian Galvanizer Breaks Ground on New Facility
11/08/2019 - Canada's Corbec Steel recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new CA$40 million galvanizing plant in Hamilton, Ont., reports CanadianManufacturing.com.
The new facility, which represents its first investment in Ontario, will be capable of hot-dip galvanizing a variety of engineered structures, including bridges, windmills, towers, exposed architectural steel, fencing, farming equipment and more. It will boast an annual capacity of 100 million pounds.
Corbec Steel aims to start up the new plant by the end of next year.
