Butech Bliss Wins Order for Hydraulic Roller Leveler
12/08/2015 - U.S.-based Ferralloy Inc. is adding a Butech Bliss Synergy® hydraulic roller leveler to its Decatur, Ala., facility.
In a statement, Butech Bliss said the new leveler will be used to process carbon steel up to 0.75 inches thick and 74 inches wide. It will be put on the facility's cut-to-length line, improving its processing capabilities. The line processes hot rolled, pickled and oiled material and produces memory-free, panel-flat product for OEMs that laser cut parts and components.
Butech Bliss said the leveler has an enhanced, menu-driven operator interface with simple graphical controls and a recipe system for quickly saving and recalling the best shape-correction settings for a particular product.
Installation is to be completed in the in the first quarter of 2016. Ferralloy already has a Butech Bliss stretch leveler capable of generating 1,850 tons of stretching force and a Butech Bliss direct drive shear on the line.
Ferralloy is based in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and makes casting, forgings and furnace parts. It also fabricates sheet, plate, wire and rod.
