Bull Moose Tube Undertakes Second Round of Expansion at U.S. Mills
10/07/2015 - U.S.-based Bull Moose Tube Co. is expanding capacity at sprinkler pipe mills in Ohio and Arizona, the company has announced.
In a statement, Bull Moose said it already has made capacity increases to the mills and is on pace to boost output by 50 percent over 2014. The company didn’t disclose how much new capacity the second of investment would bring.
The company said it is expanding because it anticipates continued growth in sprinkler-pipe demand, driven in part by growth in commercial construction and a rising amount of retrofit work required to keep up with fire codes.
The company also said the exit of some other manufacturers from the market has created business opportunities. And for that reason, Bull Moose Tube CEO Michael Blatz said company is confident that the market will grow.
“We quickly realized that an increase in capacity was necessary to fulfill our commitment to the industry and to continue to provide exceptional products and service to our customers,” he said.
