Bull Moose Invests in Additional Sprinkler Pipe Capacity
07/13/2016 - Bull Moose Tube Co. is expanding its sprinkler pipe manufacturing capabilities, announcing that it will be adding assets from two newly acquired mills to its facilities in Georgia and Arizona.
Bull Moose didn’t provide details on the deal, but said the acquisitions, along with other investments announced last fall, will effectively double its sprinkler pipe production capacity.
“We realize that this purchase -- like any major investment -- has its inherent risks,” said Bull Moose chief executive Michael Blatz.
“But we are confident that our production footprint, our strong financial position, our solid product-certification track record and our reputation as a trusted leader in sprinkler-pipe production uniquely positions us to make this investment and to continue to meet customer demand.”
Bull Moose said it will be incorporating one of the mills into its Trenton, Ga., facility later this year. Afterward, it will integrate the other mill into its Casa Grande, Ariz., facility.
