Broner Collaborates with Jsoft to Create Strong Partnership for the Indian Steel and Aluminum Market
12/05/2013 - Broner Metals Solutions announced with Jsoft Solutions Ltd the signing of a memorandum of understanding to deliver a comprehensive product portfolio of advanced planning and scheduling and MES solutions to the Indian steel and aluminum market.
The alliance between Broner and JSoft will help Indian aluminum and steel companies in reducing operating costs, manufacturing more ‘just in time’ and improving customer service.
Broner Metals Solutions Ltd recently implemented, in partnership with JSoft, the installation of Broner’s MES functionality at JSW Steel’s new cold rolling mill (CRM2) at the JSW Vijayanagar plant in Karnataka, India. The plant is a JSW/JFE joint venture. This was a landmark project for the Indian steel industry and sets a high standard for major steel producers in this fast growing industry across Asia and the Asia Pacific.
