Ispat Industries Limited in Dolvi, India, has awarded Bricmont, Inc. a contract to convert their existing tunnel furnaces to dual fuel capacity.
The fully automated new system will allow Ispat to use either LNG and/or light fuel oil depending on availability and fuel cost. The new system’s operational flexibility is expected to provide Ispat with substantial cost savings.
