Berry Metal Names Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Berry Metal Co. announced the addition of John J. Mroz as vice president, sales and marketing.
Mr. Mroz will be responsible for providing customers with technical support and service in the use of injection lances for steelmaking — Berry Metal’s core business—and be involved in the development of other prospective products and services that are underway globally for Berry Metal.
“John brings with him world-class experience in the business”, said George Koenig, president of Berry Metal Co. “By properly interpreting the needs of our customers, John will be in the ideal position to lead our team in the execution of required solutions. His in-depth technical knowledge will be a critical asset in understanding the needs of our customers. Our goal with Mroz is to be closer to our customers more than ever before… in my mind that’s critical in today’s industry.”
John will report directly to George Koenig. Prior to joining Berry Metal Co., Mr. Mroz was employed by Heraeus Electro-Nite Co. as sales manager, steel products and by LTV Steel Corp. as part of its steel producing operations management team.

Mr. Mroz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Purdue University – Calumet and is an active member of the AIST Oxygen Steel Making Committee.
