BOF and EAF equipment specialist Berry Metal Co. has promoted the head of its engineering services group to the president’s office, the company has announced.

Berry Metal said Monday that George Boy has been instrumental in providing customers with innovative technical solutions and enhanced services.

“I am honored and excited to help lead Berry Metal forward and to continue to deliver the advanced technology our customers need to more effectively compete in today’s steel industry,” he said.

Boy joined Berry Metal in July 2017. He previously worked as general manager for SMS Technical Services in Pittsburgh, Pa., USA.
