Bekaert Solaronics to Supply Electrical Infrared Drying Furnace to Baosteel

Baosteel’s CGL 2030 will be revamped with to bring on-stream 280,000 tons of high-strength and ultrahigh-strength galvanized products and 100,000 tons of hot-dip aluminum-silicon galvanized products beginning in October 2015.
 
Bekaert Solaronics’ post treatment near infrared furnace featuresh WebMate® M2000 modules, combining the advantages of radiation and convection with no drawbacks. These modules are designed especially for process industries and coil-coating applications in particular.
 
Moreover, the compactness of the system fully meets the process requirements of high-speed production lines (such as CGL and EGL), focusing on state-of-the-art post treatment coatings.
 
The Webmate technology is part of Bekaert Solaronics’ infrared-drying-technology portfolio targeting flat-metals processing lines such as CGL, CCL and many more.
