Baosteel Announces Third Patent Invention Award
05/11/2012 - Baosteel recently received three of eight patents awarded under the “Invention Awards,” one for “a rolling process and special equipment for seamless tube” invented by Yantai Lubao of its Steel Pipe business unit.
Baosteel recently received three of eight patents awarded under the “Invention Awards,” one for “a rolling process and special equipment for seamless tube” invented by Yantai Lubao of its Steel Pipe business unit.
The project was awarded the top prize. According to issues such as inner screw, straight channel scape and others of the ACCU-ROLL machine, the researchers invented a brand-new rolling process for seamless pipe and rolling expansion machine and leveler. After application of that patent, the production amount increased 63%.
“Solid solution strengthening of same level steel and its product method” was awarded the second prize under the Invention Award, controlling the process such as hot rolling, cold rolling and annealing, and product varieties of same level steel.
“A high-tensile steel plate for static enamel and its product method” also received an Invention Award, through researching forming properties and strengthening mechanisms of enamel steel, developing varieties of tensile hot rolling high-tensile enamel steel. The method adopts technology of PH nitrogen blowing to save on production costs, and accumulatively achieves added profit of 9.5 million yuan.
