ATI Allvac Announces Price Increases
04/18/2005 - Allegheny Technologies Inc. announced that ATI Allvac is increasing prices on all nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, vacuum-melted specialty steels and titanium alloy products by 5 to 9%.
Allegheny Technologies Inc. announced that ATI Allvac is increasing prices on all nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, vacuum-melted specialty steels and titanium alloy products by 5 to 9%.
The increases, which take effect immediately, have become necessary to help offset rising manufacturing costs and for capital investments and growth.
Allvac's existing raw materials index and surcharge policies remain in effect.
ATI Allvac, an Allegheny Technologies company, is a leading producer of high performance metals with seven manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe. Nickel-, iron-, cobalt-, and titanium-base materials are manufactured for the aerospace, oil and gas, chemical processing, biomedical, transportation, and nuclear industries.
