ATI Allegheny Ludlum will add a surcharge of $300 per ton ($15.00/cwt.) to silicon electrical steel invoices. The new surcharge will take affect with shipments beginning Friday, April 1, 2005.

As has been past practice, the surcharge is subject to monthly adjustment based on changes in raw material costs.
