ArcelorMittal Receives One Tall Order for Steel

According to ArcelorMittal, the skyscraper, One Vanderbilt, will be New York City’s fourth-tallest building, topping out at 1,401 feet.

The company said the plate is originating from its Coatesville and Conshohocken plants in Pennsylvania and is being shipped to structural steel fabricator Banker Steel.

ArcelorMittal said it will fulfill the order by the end of June.

“Our participation in the One Vanderbilt project through our customer, Banker Steel, is another example of the broad portfolio that ArcelorMittal USA Plate can supply with our wide range of plate products and capabilities,” John Battisti, chief operating officer of ArcelorMittal’s U.S. plate division, said in a statement.
