ArcelorMittal Plans Big Capacity Add to Indian Mill

12/01/2020 - Looking to stake a larger claim to the Indian steel market, ArcelorMittal and joint-venture partner Nippon Steel plan to more than double the capacity of their Indian subsidiary, reports Nikkei Asia.

According to the publication, plans call for increasing capacity at the former Essar Steel India to 23 million tons by the end of the decade.
