ArcelorMittal North America CEO Receives AISI Honor
05/25/2022 - ArcelorMittal North America chief executive John Brett has been named the 2022 recipient of the Gary Memorial Medal, the American Iron and Steel Institute’s (AISI) highest honor.
Brett, a former AISI board chairman, was formally presented the award during AISI’s general meeting in Washington, D.C., USA, this week.
“I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor than John. He is a tremendous leader and outspoken advocate for the steel industry,” said AISI chairman Leon Topalian, Nucor Corp. president and chief executive.
