ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih CEO Named ‘Best Manager’
04/20/2010 - Jean Jouet, CEO of OJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih, was recently chosen as “best manager in the steel industry in Ukraine” according to the Top-100 rating by Investgazeta. Jouet was one of five industry leaders who shared first place.

The company notes that the Top-100 is one of the most prestigious ratings in the country. Various competitors and other market players responded to a survey and assessed their colleagues on criteria such as personal efficiency (reputation, ability to advocate the company’s interests); corporate efficiency (business strategy, personnel, and social policy); and business development (attracting investments, new markets).
ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih says that this award demonstrates the company’s leading role in handling the economic crisis and Jouet’s personal attention to production recovery and investment obligations, especially in the social sphere.
According to rating organizers, the results changed compared to last year because new criteria such as experience and ability to work in crisis conditions grew in importance.
”I am deeply honored by this award,” said Jouet. “This is a recognition for ArcelorMittal and our entire Kryviy Rih team who have worked very hard to build and further develop a sustainable, modern, and transparent business in these challenging times. It also values the leading role of our company in Ukraine. Our aim is to preserve our 75-year legacy and build a modern viable business.”
