ArcelorMittal Grants Acceptance Certificate for Silicon Steel Coating Line from Tenova

Tenova Strip Processing recently received the acceptance certificate from ArcelorMittal for the new magnesium coating line Tenova installed at the company’s Valcovny Plechu plant in Frydek-Mistek, in the Czech Republic.
 
Tenova’s scope of supply for the project comprised the engineering, equipment, erection supervision and commissioning of a complete cleaning and MgO coating line capable of processing strip thicknesses of 18.0 and 35 mm and widths up to a maximum of 1050 mm.
 
The new line is part of the Valcovny Plechu facility’s advanced production process for grain-oriented silicon steel, which is typically used in the production of electric transformers.
