ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Employees Support United Way
11/24/2009 - ArcelorMittal Dofasco and its employees make a $1 million donation to the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton.
ArcelorMittal Dofasco recently announced a $1 million donation to the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton.
The donation includes a $700,000 contribution to the 2009 United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton campaign made up of employee contributions distributed through the Employee Donations Fund, and a significant contribution from the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Community Investment Fund. There is also a formal commitment of an additional $300,000 as part of a larger total donation to the 2010 United Way Campaign.

The United Way donation is part of the company’s Community Strength campaign which supports the important contribution of the company’s community partners, represented in seven sectors, including United Way, Healthcare, Education, Arts, Sports, the Environment and Social Services.
