ArcelorMittal CEO Sees Improvement on the Horizon
03/07/2016 - There’s finally some light at the end of the tunnel, ArcelorMittal’s chief executive told The (London) Financial Times.
“We believe that we have reached the bottom of the situation and things should continue to improve,” Lakshmi Mittal told the newspaper during an interview.
Mittal told the newspaper he believes market conditions will improve as China begins cutting excess capacity and closes mills. Mittal said there already is some evidence of recovery, pointing to an uptick in metal spreads.
