ArcelorMittal Announces Resignation of a Director

ArcelorMittal announced the resignation of Romain Zaleski from its board of directors.
 
The company said Zaleski had indicated his sole reason for resigning is to pursue other commercial interests in the steel sector. In line with ArcelorMittal’s principles of corporate governance, Mr. Kinsch, Chairman of the company’s board of directors, has accepted his resignation.
 
 “I would like to thank Mr. Zaleski for his valuable contribution to the board. We continue to have a very strong and experienced board in place” said Mr. Kinsch.
 
Zaleski joined the board in October 2006.

ArcelorMittal’s key pro forma financials for 2007 show revenues of USD 105.2 billion, with a crude steel production of 116 million tonnes, representing around 10% of world steel output.
