ArcelorMittal Allots Nearly US$300 Million for 2018 Capital Projects
11/13/2017 - ArcelorMittal USA is budgeting for US$276 million in capital spending for next year, with much of that being set aside for its integrated mills in northern Indiana, reports The Times newspaper of northwest Indiana.
According to The Times, the company’s Indiana Harbor mill is planning on US$100 million in work on, among other things, its continuous annealing line, No. 2 coating line, cold and cold mill complex.
In addition, much of the remaining budget will be put toward the Burns Harbor plant, the newspaper said.
