ANDRITZ Announces Changes to Metal Processing Business
01/18/2021 - ANDRITZ is reorganizing its ferrous and non-ferrous sheet processing business into three geographic units as part of its ANDRITZ METALS – STRONGER TOGETHER initiative.
In the U.S., ANDRITZ will place ASKO Inc., ASKO BV, Herr-Voss Stamco Inc. and ANDRITZ Metals Inc. under a single entity called ANDRITZ Metals USA.
The new entity will be headquartered in Callery, Pa., USA, and maintain locations in Ambridge, Pa.; Canonsburg, Pa.; Conway, Pa.; Homestead Pa.; Novi, Mich.; Rockhill, S.C.; Chesterton, Ind.; South Holland, Ill.; and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
“The objective of this merger is to increase the overall efficiency in meeting customers’ needs through streamlining how we interact with our customers as well as how we leverage our operational and technical resources,” Kim Mostowy, president of ANDRITZ Metals USA Inc., told Metal Center News in December.
In Germany, ANDRITZ Sundwig GmbH will become ANDRITZ Metals Germany GmbH, which will absorb ANDRITZ Maerz GmbH and ANDRITZ FBB GmbH over the next few months.
In France, ANDRITZ Selas SAS has been renamed ANDRITZ Metals France SAS and will be based in Asnières-sur-Seine with a presence in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
ANDRITZ said the initiative is meant to increase overall efficiency and better fulfill customers’ needs.
