American Tube Is Now Atlas Tube — Birmingham
08/22/2017 - Pipe and tube producer Zekelman Industries has renamed its American Tube Manufacturing unit as Atlas Tube — Birmingham, the company has announced.
Zekelman Industries acquired American Tube, an Alabama-based maker of hollow structural sections (HSS), in February. The name change reflects the integration of the company into Zekelman Industries’ Atlas Tube division, the company said.
Atlas Tube – Birmingham will continue to operate at its current location, but is now stocking an expanded range of HSS sizes, Zekelman said.
