Alliance Steel Opens Indiana HQ, Service Center
08/21/2020 - Steel processor Alliance Steel has cut the ribbon on a new, state-of-the-art US$20 million headquarters and service center in Gary, Ind., USA, reports The Times newspaper of northwest Indiana.
According to The Times, the ribbon-cutting caps a process that began four years ago, when the company began looking to move from its location in Illinois.
"We were operating out of four separate buildings, utilizing 160,000 to 170,000 square feet, so we really needed to consolidate for efficiency,” Alliance Steel president and chief executive Andrew Gross told the newspaper.
