Allegheny Technologies Picks a New Name and a New Home
06/23/2022 - Specialty metals producer Allegheny Technologies Inc. is changing its name and moving its headquarters from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Dallas, Texas, reports the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Citing a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Business Times said the company will now be known as ATI Inc.
In the filing, the company said the move will provide ATI with an “independent, centralized headquarters location that is expected to strengthen the Company’s strategic focus and support the independent functioning of its other operating hubs located throughout its corporate footprint.”
