Allegheny Technologies Announces Operating Management Changes
10/03/2008 - Allegheny Technologies announces several executive-level changes to its organization, changes the company says are designed to simplify and streamline the reporting relationships and leadership of ATI’s key manufacturing operations.
Allegheny Technologies Inc. announced several executive-level changes to its organization, including the appointment of Lynn D. Davis to the newly created position of Group President, ATI Primary Metals and Exotic Alloys.
Davis, who currently serves as Business Unit President of ATI Wah Chang, will continue to report to L. Patrick Hassey, ATI’s Chairman, President and CEO. In addition to ATI Wah Chang, ATI’s Albany, Ore., Titanium Operations will now report to Davis, as will ATI’s Richland, Wash., Electron Beam Titanium Operations, and ATI’s soon-to-be-completed Premium Titanium Sponge Operation located in Rowley, Utah.
The company also announced the following appointments:
- John D. Sims, currently Vice President of Operations at ATI Allvac, has been named Business Unit President, ATI Wah Chang. In his new position, Sims will report to Lynn Davis.
- Hunter R. Dalton has been named to the newly created position of Group President, ATI Long Products, and remains Business Unit President of ATI Allvac. In his new position, Dalton will continue to report to Hassey.
- Terry L. Dunlap has been named to the newly created position of Group President, ATI Flat-Rolled Products, and remains Business Unit President of ATI Allegheny Ludlum. In his new position, Dunlap will continue to report to Hassey.
- David M. Hogan remains serving as Group President of ATI Engineered Products and Business Unit President of ATI Metalworking Products, also reporting to Hassey.
The company said the organizational changes have been designed to simplify and streamline the reporting relationships and leadership of ATI’s key manufacturing operations. All changes are effective immediately.
