ALJ Releases 2008 Annual Results

ALJ Regional Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Kentucky Electric Steel, reported record revenue of $185.6 million for the 2008 fiscal year, which ended September 30, 2008. The company also reported record revenue of $52.2 million for the fourth fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2008.
 
The record $185.6 million revenues for the year compare to revenue of $150.9 million for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2007.
 
The $52.2 million revenues for the fourth fiscal quarter compare to revenue of $39.6 million for the year-ago fourth quarter, which ended September 30, 2007.
 
ALJ is the parent company of KES Acquisition Co., which does business as Kentucky Electric Steel, the owner and operator of a steel minimill near Ashland, Ky.
