The plant received a Special Award for Safety from the Bureau of Workers' Compensation safety and hygiene division for running without any lost-time accidents between April 21, 2003, and Dec. 31, 2015, a period of nearly 5.1 million hours. The plant also received the division’s 100% Award for Safety for running without any lost-time injuries or illnesses in 2015.
