AK Steel has once again earned dual supplier awards from Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, Inc.

For its 2004 performance, AK Steel earned a Superior rating in Quality and a Superior rating in Delivery. The awards for 2004 marked the 11th consecutive year that AK Steel has garnered two awards, and is also the seventh consecutive year that AK Steel has earned Toyota's highest level of recognition, Superior, in both the quality and delivery categories.

"Toyota's success here is directly linked to the success of our suppliers."

AK Steel has surpassed an aggregate of more than 300 consecutive months with 100% on-time delivery performance to the Toyota and Lexus plants it serves in Kentucky, Indiana, California and Ont., Canada. AK Steel supplies steel for the Camry, Avalon, Sienna, Sequoia, Corolla, Tundra, Tacoma, Solara, Matrix and Lexus RX 330 vehicles produced in North America.
