AK Steel Names General Manager for Global Electrical Steel Sales
01/26/2010 - AK Steel has named Lisa A. Vensel General Manager of Electrical Steel Sales, effective on February 1. She will be responsible for the company's global sales of its electrical steel products.
AK Steel has named Lisa A. Vensel General Manager of Electrical Steel Sales, effective on February 1. She will be responsible for the company's global sales of its electrical steel products.
Vensel joined the company in 1986 and served in several engineering assignments at the Butler (Pa.) Works. She progressed through a number of electrical steel production and quality positions, before advancing to Product Metallurgy and Quality Analysis Manager in 2004. In 2008, she was named General Manager of Manufacturing Planning for AK Steel.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Westminster College (Pa.) and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
