AK Steel Announces Stainless and Electrical Surcharges for March 2007

Feb. 6, 2007 — AK Steel announced that it will add a $180/ton surcharge to invoices for electrical steel products shipped in March 2007.

The company notes that its surcharges are based on reported prices for the raw materials and energy that are used to manufacture the products. January 2007 purchase costs were used to determine the March 2007 surcharges.
