AK Steel announced that it will add a $210 per ton surcharge to invoices for electrical steel products shipped in November 2009.
The company noted that its surcharges are based on reported prices for raw materials and energy used to manufacture the products. September 2009 purchase costs were used to determine the November 2009 surcharges.
