AK Steel Announces Electrical Steel Surcharges for January 2007

Dec. 6, 2006 — AK Steel announced that it will add a $150 per ton surcharge to invoices for electrical steel products shipped in January 2007.
The company notes that its surcharges are based on reported prices for raw materials and energy used to manufacture the products, with the November 2006 purchase cost used to determine the January 2007 surcharges.
