AK Steel, Auto Workers Reach New Labor Pact
03/23/2016 - Hourly production and maintenance employees at AK Steel Corp.'s Coshocton Works in Ohio have ratified a new labor agreement, according to the company.
According to AK Steel, the new contract covers 333 employees, who ratified it on 22 March.
"We are pleased to have reached a new labor agreement at our ahead of the expiration date," said AK STeel CEO Roger K. Newport in a statement. "The new agreement provides a competitive labor contract that advances the interests of our employees and the company."
The agreement will remain in effect until 30 September 2019.The Coshocton Works makes stainless steel.
