Advanced Gauging Technologies, Plain City, Ohio, recently sold its one hundredth AGT400 Thickness Gauge & SPC Reporting System to Red Bud Industries, located in Red Bud, Ill. Red Bud will utilize the system as part of an upgrade for MC Steel Inc., Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Shortly thereafter, Orca Steel Processing of Gibraltar, Mich., purchased an AGT400 to upgrade their outdated gauging system; Riverview Steel Co. Ltd. of Windsor, Ont., purchased their second system; and Tomson Steel Co. of Middletown, Ohio, purchased an AGT400 complete with Coil Mapping, a remote defect mapping system. Concord Steel Centre Ltd. of Woodbridge, Ont., and Braner USA, Inc. of Schiller Park, Ill., also purchased AGT400 thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting systems. Braner will install the system at Servilamina Summit Mexicana in Queretaro, Mexico.
