Adjusting Strategy, JSW Steel Goes on the Hunt for Niche Producers
07/11/2018 - Having lost the bidding for several distressed assets, India’s JSW Steel is adjusting its acquisitions strategy and will look for smaller, niche producers, according to the Reuters news service.
“In the next round, our strategic thinking is to now focus on special product units that generally have a capacity of about a million tonnes,” said Seshagiri Rao, joint managing director and chief financial officer.
