Acquisition Expands Leeco Steel Processing Capabilities
07/06/2023 - Steel plate distributor Leeco Steel has acquired a Texas processor that specializes in plasma and oxy-fuel cutting and machining.
According to Leeco Steel, the acquisition of Alvarado, Texas, USA-based Titan Steel will expand Leeco’s processing capabilities, allowing it to produce parts that require precision machining and milling. Titan’s staff, facility, and cutting, drilling and milling machines will be retained through the acquisition, but the business will be rebranded as Leeco Steel’s Alvarado processing plant.
“We are excited to offer our customers even more value-added services, particularly in the south, southeast and southwest regions,” said John Purcell, Leeco Steel’s vice president of sales.
“Our goal is to be a more comprehensive steel plate supply chain partner to all of our customers, whether that means providing raw plate or augmenting existing customer capabilities with processed parts.”
