The new appointments follow the retirement of former chairman and chief executive Steve Scheinkman on 1 January. Scheinkman will continue to serve the board of directors as a senior adviser to assist in the transition.

Edgar joined A.M. Castle in 2014 and has served as president of the company since December 2018. According to SEC filings, Sheehan has been a member of the company’s board of directors since 2016.
