100 Years of Stainless Steel Exhibition Opens in Beijing
05/21/2012 - The International Stainless Steel Forum and members of the Team Stainless network are celebrating a century of stainless steel production a travelling exhibition that will open in Beijing during the ISSF’s 16th Annual Conference.
The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) and members of the Team Stainless network are celebrating in 2012 the century of production that has taken place since stainless steel was first discovered and commercialized.
To mark the occasion, the groups have developed a travelling exhibition that will open in Beijing, China during the International Stainless Steel Forum’s 16th Annual Conference.
The 100 Years of Stainless Steel exhibition will be open to visitors in the Statesman’s Hall of the St. Regis Hotel Beijing on May 16 and 17, 2012, from 09:00 - 18:00.
In addition to a review of the history of the stainless steel industry, the exhibition also details some of the many applications for stainless, its alloying elements, and its recycling and environmental footprint.
The exhibition also features a display of stainless steel artworks which are available for purchase.
