10 Killed in Accident at Chinese Plant
11/30/2015 - Chinese authorities are investing a gas leak that killed 10 people at a steel plant during the weekend, according to reports.
According to the Associated Press, the leak occurred Saturday. Seventeen people were sickened, and five died immediately, the news service said. Five more died on Sunday.
The BBC reported that the accident occurred at Zouping County Shandong Fukai Stainless Steel Co.
The remaining seven victims are hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning, according to the Associated Press.
