‘Bud’ Rossi Joins JSW Steel as Operations Executive
04/07/2015 - According to American Metal Market, JSW Steel (USA) Inc. has hired industry veteran Henry "Bud" Rossi as chief operating officer.
Rossi reports to John Hritz, president and chief executive officer of the Baytown, Texas-based steel plate and pipe maker. "Bud is one of the finest operators of steel assets (particularly plate mills) in our industry," Hritz said in a statement April 6. "We look forward to continued growth and success as we restructure JSW."
Before joining JSW, Rossi worked as a steel industry consultant, the company said. He also held senior positions at West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel Corp., including director of technology, and executive roles at the former Kansas City, Mo.-based GST Steel Co., the former Claymont, Del.-based CitiSteel USA Inc., and Pittsburgh-based U.S. Steel Corp.
